Hire Agreement

Terms and Conditions for the rental of Container at Sandown Storage:

  • A security deposit equal to your first month’s rent is required, this will be returned to you at the end of your tenancy as long as the terms and conditions of this agreement have been followed.
  • The first month’s rent needs to be paid upfront, only once payment has been made will the use of the container be available. Your rental start date will be your payment date each month. (Weekly payments can be made for Inside storage rooms)
  • Continuous failure to make payment could result in the contract being terminated.
  • The term will be continuous until 1 months’ notice is given to terminate the contract and goods are removed from the unit.
  • Nothing is to be stored outside of the secure storage facility allocated to you.
  • Illegal activities and items are prohibited on the premises at all times.
  • Maintain the storage unit in a clean, orderly and safe condition.
  • Once the contract has been terminated all goods must be removed from the storage container.
  • If we find you are not adhering to these terms and conditions, you will be given 7 day’s notice to vacate your container removing all goods.
  • Renter agrees that the owner shall not be liable or responsible for any goods stored in the container.
  • The Renter agrees to be held solely responsible for any damages to the rented storage beyond normal wear and tear.
  • The Renter will be responsible for any costs in clearing any goods left behind when the contract has been terminated.
